Dancing With Forgiveness

Forgiveness is incredibly personal. How do we forgive? Who do we forgive? When? Where? These are questions each of us must answer for ourselves. No one can forgive someone else on our behalf, but rather it’s a work that must be done singularly and on our own.

In order to have a healthy relationship with other humans, we must sometimes forgive them. In order to have healthy relationships with ourselves, we must forgive the junk of our past—often every single day.

Unfortunately, forgiving someone does not always lead to restoration of relationship. That is a very sad outcome and a very hard reality. If someone tells you they’ve forgiven you, BELIEVE THEM.

Go, make it a good day, and dance with forgiveness!
