Miss Congeniality

March is Women's History Month and there is no shortage of fabulous women about whom we could chat. Instead, we decided to talk about each of our forgettable forays into the beauty queen world.

Debi and I recently discovered we were both pageant contestants in 1980, so how could we not take a moment to talk about our memories? We’re both so grateful for the experience and the lessons learned.

As we’ve entered into the last year of our 50’s, Debi and I know for certain that we women are stronger than we know, braver than we believe, and more beautiful than we let ourselves admit. Today we celebrate ALL women. Thank you for all you are to your families, friends, and the world. We love you.
