Liz’s Story
I grew up going to church and being taught Christian values and traditions. My husband and I both spent most of our early marriage working for and volunteering at churches and non-profit organizations. When we found ourselves in a family crisis we were shocked to learn we would have to face things alone. The foundation on which I built my faith and life completely gave way. Rebuilding is never easy, but when we find courage and strength we didn’t know we had, we can be there for others.
