Celebrating During a Pandemic

In August our daughter got married! My husband and I couldn’t be happier, but what an adventure. I mean, when little girls dream about their wedding day they usually don’t picture it taking place during a global pandemic. It is said that many hands make light work. So many came together to make sure our daughter and her new husband had the most perfect outdoor space to celebrate friendship, family, love, and marriage.

When we face the loss of dreams and plans, mourning is the go-to emotion for most of us. Perhaps this time of global disruption is the perfect time to remind us to celebrate what we have and all we’ve survived. Debi and I talk about dancing with loss and how it reminds us we’re still here to tell the story.
